Reach Your Campus

Some ideas from other CA ministries!

Bono Night

SUNY Brockport put on a "BONO NIGHT" to talk about AIDS, poverty, and Christianity and had a discussion on how we could influence our world.

"We showed Bono in an interview with Bill Hybels from the Leadership Summit in 2006. Bono expressed his concern about the lack of involvement from the church with these issues. He talks about his faith, and quotes scripture throughout the interview. We also invited several guest speakers from the community to talk about the different issues revolving around AIDS. This DVD is available through Willow Creek Community Church in Chicago. We promoted the night heavily with posters of Bono and it was our most well attended meeting of the year."

Free Water Table

A CA ministry in Tucson, AZ called Damascus Road sets up a table once a week on the University of Arizona campus to hand out cups of free ice cold water.

There is absolutely no agenda (no ads to pass out or events to promote) except to serve the students on campus. It helps us practice being generous people and is also a great way to meet new students and start interesting conversations. And if it's colder outside, you can offer free hot chocolate!
